Maerraine is a member of House Medani. The house provides her with lodging and food, though she is expected to put in a few hours of work in exchange. Where the house has a presence, she may have access to discounts on other goods and services related to the house’s specialty. If she is accused of a crime, her house will support her if a good case can be made for her innocence or the crime is justifiable in the eyes of the House. She can also gain access to powerful political figures through the house, if she is a member in good standing. Such connections might require that she perform some noteworthy service for the house. Her house will occasionally call upon her for support. She will have to provide support for the house to remain in the house’s good graces.
